Meet Our Team
Doug Terry, CAS
After graduation from The University of Tennessee in 1989, Doug began his career in the Promotional Products Industry with Castelli Diaries. Prior to that however he would attend Industry Trade shows and assist his father, Ken Terry, during Summer and Winter Breaks. Castelli Diaries eventually partnered with Atchison Products and they utilized Doug as a shared rep covering the Southeast. After a few years with Castelli and Atchison, Doug and his Dad decided it was time for them to partner together. This partnership continues today but with Ken deciding to turn some of attention to different things it was time for another transition. Doug and long time friend, Billy Mcdonald, formed McDonald Terry Group and combined two respected and successful rep groups covering the Southeast.

Bill McDonald, now widely known in the industry as “BillyMac”, graduated from the University of Georgia with a BBA in Marketing in 1977. After graduation, Bill was hired by The Union Carbide Corporation Battery Products Division. He worked there for 7 years, working initially in their Atlanta Regional office before being transferred to Charlotte, NC and then Raleigh, NC as a territory sales manger. During this stretch of 7 years at Eveready/Energizer, Bill became interested in promotional products and as a sideline to Eveready, began creating, printing and then selling unique University of Georgia Bulldog promotional products, including t-shirts and bumper stickers. He began by selling directly to UGA, the UGA bookstore and numerous other businesses around the state of Georgia. In 1984, with this promotional energy he had created, Bill left Eveready and went to work for Brown & Bigelow, as a District Sales Manager for the Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee and SC territory. He later was hired in 1988 by Wing Hughes and Karin Otterstrom at Forrester-Smith in Tampa, and became their Mid South Regional Manager. In 1989, Bill created McDonald Marketing Group and began his career as a multi-line rep in the southeast. The success achieved through the years and his travels with Doug and Ken Terry eventually created a need and desire with Doug (and Ken) to merge McDonald Marketing Group with Terrytorry Marketing. The result has been two very successful rep groups forming to cover the southeast most effectively.
